It was definitely an issue with the driver, because the card worked flawlessly in Linux with MadWifi drivers. Im not to savvy with computer terms but I manage pretty well.
Problem solved It’s worth mentioning that the Atheros cards work beautifully when a good driver’s found. This bug report is a duplicate of: Try that, and remove any wireless lan cards you might find. On the internet, I found a few notes about these problems sorry, but I don’t seem to currently find the references to the web pages involved: I just cannot understand why manufacturers ship it with such lousy drivers.
